In addition, he has held various positions such as Investment Analyst, Trader, and Portfolio Manager for various national and international institution.
Mr. Arcila is an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Notre Dame (USA) and the Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), where he teaches applied derivatives. Additionally, he serves as a Research Associate at the Universidad de Los Andes’ Center of Sustainable Finance, conducting research on sustainable finance, commodities, and carbon markets. In 2018 Mr. Arcila was nominated for the Best Professor in Colombia in 2018 by Portfolio. He has lectured, participated in panels, and presented as a guest speaker at various institutions, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC), HFM Within Intelligence, Ecuador’s San Francisco de Quito University (USFQ), and has published articles in Environmental Finance, CFA, and CAIA.
Carlos holds a Master of Science in Finance (Magna cum Laude) from the University of Notre Dame in the United States, and is a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and GARP Sustainability and Climate Change Risk (SCR).
