Commodity Trading Week Americas moves to Manhattan

Commodity Trading Week Americas is heading to Manhattan.

On June 14–17, 2027, the next chapter begins in New York, with a new format built around the way commodity markets now trade, connect and do business.
‍
But New York is not where the story starts.

Built for the Commodity Trading Community
Commodity Trading Week Americas was launched in the aftermath of Covid with a clear ambition: to create a dedicated meeting place for the people driving North American commodity markets.

Since then, the event has grown alongside the industry.

Across six editions, more than 2,500 commodity professionals have joined us, from physical market participants and asset owners to traders, risk leaders, technology specialists and financial institutions.

C-suite company penetration

Each location has reflected a different part of that journey. Houston brought us close to the physical energy and commodity markets. Chicago strengthened the connection with derivatives, exchanges and price risk. Stamford became home to a growing community of senior trading, risk and commercial leaders.

That evolution has brought us to New York.

The Market Moved. So Did We.
Over the past six years, commodity trading has accelerated. Physical supply and logistics still matter, but they are now only part of the picture. Capital, AI, quantitative strategies, advanced risk management and faster data are playing a much bigger role in how markets are traded and decisions are made.

The old boundaries are disappearing. Physical traders are working more closely with financial institutions. Technology teams are influencing trading strategy. Risk, data and capital are becoming inseparable from the commercial conversation.

That shift has changed the market around us, and it changed what Commodity Trading Week Americas needed to become.

New York is the natural next step.

Why Manhattan?

New York brings many of those worlds together.
Commodity trading sits alongside banking, investment, insurance, technology, data, quantitative finance and professional services. Moving Commodity Trading Week Americas to Manhattan allows us to bring those communities closer together while keeping physical commodity markets at the heart of the event. It is the next step in the evolution of the platform we have been building since the beginning.

A New Format for Commodity Trading Week Americas
New York also gives us the opportunity to rethink how the event works.

Commodity Trading Week Americas will become a week-long program of industry activity across Manhattan, with partner activations, satellite events, networking and community-led experiences taking place throughout the city.

At the center of the week is Commodity Trading Week Americas at Pier Sixty, bringing the market together for a high-energy day of content, meetings, debate and networking.

Around it, partners and industry groups will host breakfasts, workshops, roundtables, receptions, client dinners and specialist events across Manhattan.
‍
The conference becomes the anchor. The city becomes part of the experience.

One city. One week. One commodity trading community.
The Next Chapter
Commodity Trading Week Americas started with a simple idea: bring the people shaping commodity markets together.

Six editions later, that community is larger, the market is broader and the connections between trading, finance and technology are deeper than ever.

New York is where those worlds meet.

And in June 2027, it is where the next chapter of Commodity Trading Week Americas begins.
